The Loreto Kirribilli Bursary

The Loreto Kirribilli Bursary

At Loreto Kirribilli we are committed to making a positive difference in the lives of others.

At the heart of our school is the vision of our foundress, Mary Ward, who, more than 400 years ago, dedicated her life to works of justice, steadfast in her belief that girls should be educated, and women empowered to assume positions of leadership.

The gift of a Loreto Kirribilli education

Our school offers bursaries to help provide the gift of a Loreto Kirribilli education to families who otherwise would not be able to benefit from these opportunities. Thanks to the generosity of our community, our means-tested bursaries allow students to complete their education in the tradition of the Loreto Sisters.

Bursary recipients will have the same opportunities as all Loreto students, to realise their gifts and talents, and graduate from the school as proud Loreto women, inspired to make a significant contribution to society.

This represents a wonderful opportunity for students whose families do not have the means to access a Loreto Kirribilli education. The students should demonstrate a love of learning and a willingness to contribute to the life of their school and the broader community.

The means-tested Bursary will be awarded annually to students providing full or partial fee relief for their education from Years 10-12.

The Loreto Kirribilli Bursary is proudly supported by the Ex-Students' Union and our parents and friends.

Applications open for Year 10 2026
